Only 3 weeks to go

Lovely blue Gulf water

With temperatures hovering around 100 at home, I thought I'd check to see how hot it is in Playa Del Carmen. Amazingly, it was 5 degrees warmer here tonight :). Thoughts of 3 pools and clear Caribbean waters sound better every day. We bought new water shoes to deal with the Coral and rocks we heard are at the entrance to the water near our hotel. And remembered to suggest that Max and Nick get some, too.

Reservations are made for the Jungle Place and our day with Edventures. Deposits sent and transportation arranged from the Cancun Airport to The Fives Hotel. So far, we have received 2 time changes for our flight...one for 1/2 hour earlier and the other for just a few minutes difference. Bless the airlines. If they can complicate a trip at all, they certainly jump at the chance. Getting the boys up and off to the airport for an 8 AM international flight should be lots of fun! Clearly breakfast will happen at the airport!

Time to do some serious planning!

Two months from today, we'll be in Playa Del Carmen (arriving on July 28th), so the countdown is on.  Our  plane tickets are purchased, transportation from Cancun to our timeshare is confirmed, and the blue waters of the Caribbean are calling to us.  It's been 2 years since Nick and Max traveled with us to Utah for our biennial younger grandsons' trip!  We are so ready to have a wonderful time in Mexico.  Looks pretty nice, doesn't it??

We arrive early afternoon...so could easily be in the water soon afterwards...maybe wear bathing suits under our clothes on the plane?  :)
